Hogs for Hospice 2025: A Weekend of Bikes, Music, and Community

Updated: Nov 26

Another Hogs for Hospice is in the books, and 2025 delivered everything we love about this event—bikes, live music, great roads, and a powerful cause.

Held over the August long weekend at Seacliff Park in Leamington, this year’s rally brought together riders and supporters from across Ontario and beyond. Whether you came for the ride, the concerts, or just to walk around and take it all in, you felt the energy.

A Rally With Real Purpose

Hogs for Hospice isn’t just a bike rally. It’s a fundraising event that directly supports Erie Shores Hospice and local healthcare in our community. Since it started, the event has raised over $5 million, and every year that number keeps growing.

This is what makes Hogs for Hospice stand out. It’s not just a weekend of fun—it’s a weekend that makes a real difference.

The Ride and the Roads

This year’s “Tour the Tip” ride once again highlighted some of the best roads in the region, including scenic stretches through Point Pelee and along the lake. It’s one of the most well-organized group rides around, and the turnout proved it.

The ride began with a Blessing of the Bikes and a ceremony to honour veterans, adding a meaningful touch before engines fired up.

Live Music All Weekend

Music was a huge part of the weekend, and the lineup this year was stacked:

  • Theory of a Deadman kicked things off Friday night with a loud, high-energy show, with Kim Mitchell opening the evening.

  • Carly Pearce and Mitchell Tenpenny took the stage Saturday for a country night that packed the park.

  • The beer garden and food truck areas featured local acts, vendors, and plenty of space to hang out, relax, and enjoy the vibe.

Freestyle Shows, Bike Games, and More

There was no shortage of action off the stage too. Sunday was filled with burnout contests, motocross freestyle demos, the Iron by the Beach custom bike show, and even a Junior Bike Rodeo for the younger crowd.

Local vendors, rib fest, and the Lions Club pancake breakfasts kept everyone fed and fuelled all weekend.

Our Take on the Weekend

We had an incredible time. It was great to see so much interest in what we offer, from brand new riders to those looking to move up to their full M. We loved chatting with folks curious about getting on two wheels—and especially enjoyed seeing so many of our past students stop by to say hello.

Thanks to everyone who showed their support, not just for us, but for all the local businesses who help make weekends like this one possible. Events like this remind us how strong and connected the riding community really is.

The Impact of Hogs for Hospice

Hogs for Hospice is more than just a rally; it’s a movement. The funds raised go directly to supporting hospice care, which is vital for families in need. Each dollar contributes to a compassionate environment where families can find solace during difficult times.

Community Engagement

The event fosters a sense of community. Riders from all walks of life come together, united by their passion for motorcycles and their commitment to a worthy cause. This camaraderie is palpable throughout the weekend, creating lasting memories and friendships.

The Importance of Local Support

Local businesses play a crucial role in the success of Hogs for Hospice. Their contributions help enhance the event experience. From food vendors to local musicians, each participant adds to the vibrant atmosphere. This collaboration showcases the strength of community ties.

Looking Forward

As we reflect on the success of Hogs for Hospice 2025, we look ahead to future events. Each year brings new opportunities to grow, engage, and make a difference. We encourage everyone to mark their calendars for next year’s rally and join us in supporting a cause that truly matters.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, Hogs for Hospice is a celebration of life, community, and compassion. It’s a reminder of the power of coming together for a common goal. We invite you to join us next year, whether as a rider, supporter, or volunteer. Together, we can continue to make a meaningful impact.
