M2 Course
(M1 to M2)

An officially approved program developed by the Learn2Ride Training Foundation and instructed by certified professionals. This comprehensive three-day course includes a three-hour classroom theory session and two full days of practical training in a controlled parking lot environment. It covers essential foundational skills for safe motorcycle operation while you gain real-world riding experience. Upon successful completion, participants are eligible to obtain a class "M2" licence.
 
Minimum Requirements:
 
Age Requirement: Participants must be 16 years of age or older.
 
Valid M1 Licence: A valid Ontario Ministry of Transportation M1 licence is required. The M1 licence is a 90-day permit that allows motorcycle operation under specific restrictions.

M Course  
(M2 to M)

Our curriculum, approved by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO), is taught by MTO-certified instructors who are dedicated to enhancing your on-road skills and safety. This two-day program includes a three-hour classroom theory session and six hours of practical on-road training, during which participants will use their own motorcycles.

Minimum Requirements:

Ontario M2 licence: Participants must hold an Ontario M2 licence for at least 22 months (or 18 months if they have successfully completed an approved M2 course).
 
Personal, Insured Motorcycle: Participants must provide a personally owned motorcycle that is adequately insured for use during the course and capable of maintaining minimum highway speeds.

Private Sessions

At Learn2Ride, we understand that schedules don't always align with our regular courses. That’s why we offer private one-on-one courses for those unable to attend our standard class times. We also provide individual private lessons on an hourly basis, customized to focus on specific skills or areas you'd like to improve.
