Service Description

The Learn2Ride Training Foundation presents an MTO (Ontario Ministry of Transportation) approved motorcycle training course designed to equip participants with the essential skills required for safe and responsible motorcycle riding. Taught by certified instructors, this comprehensive program spans three days and is aimed at individuals who aspire to gain road experience and earn their class "M2" motorcycle licence. Classroom Theory (Three Hours): Participants begin their journey with a three-hour classroom session where they will explore into the theoretical aspects of safe motorcycle operation. In this segment, students will learn about the rules of the road, essential safety guidelines, and the fundamentals of motorcycle handling. Parking Lot Training (Two Full Days): The majority of the course consists of hands-on training conducted over two full days in a controlled parking lot environment. During these practical sessions, students will have the opportunity to develop their riding skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. The training encompasses a wide range of skills, including maneuvering, braking, acceleration, turning, and emergency procedures. Participants will gain valuable experience in a secure environment before venturing onto public roads. To enroll in this motorcycle training program, participants must meet the following minimum requirements: - Age Requirement: Participants must be 16 years of age or older. - Possess a Valid M1 Licence: Applicants must hold a valid Ontario Ministry of Transportation M1 licence. The M1 licence is a 90-day permit that allows individuals to operate a motorcycle with specific restrictions. This preliminary licence is a prerequisite for taking the course. By successfully completing this MTO approved course, participants can confidently embark on their motorcycle riding journey, knowing that they have acquired the essential skills and knowledge to ride safely and responsibly on Ontario's roads.

Cancellation Policy

At Learn2Ride, we are committed to providing a positive and structured learning experience. We ride rain or shine, so please arrive prepared for various weather conditions. To reschedule or cancel a course with a full refund, we require five full days' notice. Cancellations or rescheduling within five days of the start date are subject to a $150 fee plus HST. No-shows without notice will not be refunded, though emergency situations will be considered case by case. If we must cancel a course due to hazardous weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer the option to reschedule at no charge or receive a full refund. If, by lunch on Saturday (or within the first four hours of the on-bike session), you feel you pose a risk to yourself or others and choose to withdraw, you will receive a $200 refund. Alternatively, if you are struggling but eager to continue, our instructors will explore alternative solutions at no extra cost, subject to availability. If illness or injury occurs during the course and you wish to resume training after recovery, we will reschedule your training free of charge, contingent upon availability. However, if you decide not to continue, a refund cannot be provided. If you do not successfully pass the final test, one complimentary re-test is offered, and additional coaching can be arranged as needed. No matter the situation, we encourage you to reach out—our ultimate goal is to help you ride safely, confidently, and enjoyably.
